1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LinkManager ("Service"), including our website and browser extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

LinkManager is a link management platform that allows users to:

  • Save and organize website links
  • Access links through a web dashboard
  • Use a browser extension for quick link insertion
  • Organize links in folders (Standard tier)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

3.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to protect your account

3.3 Account Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time. Just contact us.
  • We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately

4. Service Plans and Billing

4.1 Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed weekly in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We use Stripe for payment processing
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
  • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

4.2 Price Changes

  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
  • Price changes will not affect your current billing period
  • Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance

5. Browser Extension

5.1 Installation and Use

  • The browser extension is provided as part of the Service
  • You may install the extension only through official browser stores
  • The extension requires certain browser permissions to function properly

5.2 Extension Permissions

Our browser extension requests the following permissions:

  • Storage: To save your authentication tokens and settings locally in your browser
  • Context Menus: To add LinkManager options to right-click menus for easy link insertion
  • Active Tab: To access the current tab's content when inserting links into web forms
  • Scripting: To inject scripts that enable link insertion functionality on web pages
  • Clipboard Write: To copy links to your clipboard when requested

5.3 Extension Security

  • Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device
  • We do not access your browsing history or personal data beyond saved links
  • The extension only communicates with LinkManager servers

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of links and content you add to LinkManager
  • You grant us a license to store, display, and process your content to provide the Service
  • You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your content

6.2 Prohibited Use

You may not use LinkManager to:

  • Store or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for spam or malicious activities
  • Exceed usage limits through technical means

6.3 Content Removal

  • We may remove content that violates these Terms
  • We are not obligated to monitor user content but reserve the right to do so
  • You can delete your own content at any time

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Service Ownership

  • LinkManager and its features are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws
  • These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service
  • Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

7.2 User Content Rights

  • You retain rights to your saved links and content
  • We do not claim ownership of URLs or content you save
  • We respect the intellectual property rights of others

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Your privacy is important to us
  • Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy
  • By using the Service, you consent to data processing as described in our Privacy Policy

9. Service Availability and Modifications

9.1 Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible
  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

9.2 Service Changes

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
  • We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modifications

10. Third-Party Services

10.1 Integrated Services

We use third-party services including:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication services
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Google Analytics: Service analytics and improvement

10.2 Third-Party Links

  • Saved links may direct you to third-party websites
  • We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites
  • Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their own terms

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

11.1 Service Disclaimer

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED

11.2 Limitation of Liability

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 WEEKS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
  • SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your content or conduct
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Process

  • Most disputes can be resolved through customer support
  • If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
  • You retain the right to bring individual claims in small claims court

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LinkManager regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.

15. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time
  • Material changes will be communicated through email or service notifications
  • Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
  • The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when Terms were last modified
